As a freelance journalist my work has been featured on the Outside Podcast, KCRW, Los Angeles Public Press, and Post Reports. Previously, I was a producer on the award winning weekly podcast: VICE News Reports. I also produced AUTHENTIC : The Story of Tablo, a limited run series about music and fandom, wrote articles for the website, and hosted reported pieces on social media.

Ever since Outside published Jon Krakauer’s feature about the young, adventurous drifter who attempted to live off the land in Alaska, people have been making the pilgrimage to Bus 142 to see it for themselves. But the hike involves a dangerous river crossing. So after two drownings and countless rescues, the state of Alaska decided they needed to solve the problem. But, can you make the wilderness safe without ruining it? How do you take the Into the Wild bus out of the wild?

For the Los Angeles Public Press, I produced a feature about Jewish American responses to the Israel / Gaza conflict. Noa Kattler-Kupetz grew up in the conservative Jewish movement in Los Angeles, but now organizes with IfNotNow and is calling for a ceasefire and an end to Israel’s apartheid system. The piece explores anti-semitism, zionism, and the invisible line dividing many Jewish families right now.

VICE and Alienware teamed up to take on SXSW for an event for 2,500 attendees. DJ Groundislava played a live set to two Twitch Influencer’s gameplay projected on an LED screen on stage. The set was live streamed on twitch and captured in a VICE produced and directed music video style film.
